Claude Code expects bundled MCP server configs under an "mcpServers" object (as the plugin README documents). Without the wrapper the runapi server is not registered on install.

Setup
- Sign up at runapi.ai and go to Dashboard > API Keys
- Save your key:
mkdir -p ~/.config/runapi && echo '{"api_key":"YOUR_KEY"}' > ~/.config/runapi/config.json - Restart your MCP host
Free catalog tools (model browsing, pricing) work without a key.
