# TokenSpeed Governance

TokenSpeed is maintained by the LightSeek Foundation and the project core
maintainers.

## Core Maintainers

Named core maintainers include:

- @zhyncs
- @borontion
- @antiagainst
- @dongjiyingdjy
- @syuoni
- @LorrinWWW

This list is not exhaustive and may change as maintainers are added or step
back. Core maintainers are responsible for project direction, code review,
releases, and long-term maintenance.

## Decisions

Most decisions are made through GitHub issues, pull requests, and review
discussion. Maintainers should seek consensus when possible.

Major project decisions, including maintainer membership, release policy,
project scope, and changes to this document, require approval from more than
half of the active core maintainers.

## Adding Maintainers

A contributor may be nominated as a core maintainer after making significant
contributions to TokenSpeed and helping maintain the project for at least three
months.

A nomination must be made by an existing core maintainer and passes when more
than half of the active core maintainers approve it.

## Governance Changes

Changes to this document should be proposed by pull request and require
approval from more than half of the active core maintainers.
